After a win over Germantown, KY, they lost in the finals to a very good Philipsburg team. Congrats, ladies!

The Bauerstown 10 year old tournament team won the Etna 2009 Tournament on July 2 at Sullivan Field against Middle Road final score 3-1. This was a huge accomplishment and they played outstanding. Don was a first time manager for the 10 year old tournament bracket, he is very proud of each player! Don and his coaches encouraged teamwork, a positive attitude and most importantly, teaching the sport and having fun! This would not have been accomplished without the efforts of coaches Ed Borgen, and Chuck Vulakovich.

Here the team poses with their trophies.

2008 Purple People Eaters - 10U Slow Pitch

Manager: Joe Wall

Congratulations to the Purple People Eaters for their undefeated (18-0) regular season, followed by wins at the Etna tournament and Mooseheart tournament. The girls also took 2nd place in the BBA tournament, and were invited to the USSSA Ohio State Championship in Middletown, OH over the 4th of July weekend.

The team poses after being eliminated on Sunday. The PPEs went 0-1-1 in round robin play, and 1-2 in the double elimination tournament. There was a lot of tough competition, but the parents and teams we met were very nice, and made it a fun experience.

These little fans had fun supporting their sisters' team.

We had quite a crew of family and friends make the trip to support the team. Even BBA President Jim King made the trip.

Special thanks to all of the local businesses that donated goods or money so that the team could make the trip! (List coming soon.)

After coming back from Ohio, the girls won the Etna tournament with back-to-back wins over Aspinwall. Kayla Seidl was tournament MVP with several assists, a few unassisted plays, and great hitting.

The girls most recently took 2nd place in the BBA Tournament. They went 4-0 in round robin play, then beat North Hills 1 in the semifinals before losing to Alex Kline's DeHaven 1 team.

Some of the girls present the Mooseheart trophy to Frank Perman at the Moose Lodge's 100 year celebration. We would like to thank the Moose Lodge #46 for all they have done for the team this year.  The PPEs beat Etna in the finals to win the tournament.

2007

2007: Advanced Construction Services

11th Annual Charity Golf Outing

Advanced Construction Services held their 11th Annual Charity Golf outing at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course on June 16, 2007. Over the past 11 years, Advanced Construction has donated proceeds from the outing to various charities and non- profit organizations that benefit children. Donations to date have exceeded $90,000!

This year, Joe and the folks at ACS made a substantial donation to BBA. The next time you bump into anyone from ACS, please be sure to tell them "Thanks!"

A foursome from BBA showed up to represent in the 4-man scramble. Pictured left to right: Tom McDermott, Greg Wohlgemuth, Rick Schott, and Brian Bosilovich. While the winners came in at -17, we, um, had fun.

Here we are again with ACS owner Joe Ecker.
